Have a large space? This project was to create a worldly, elegant, and natural landscape on a large entertainment home sitting on a 600 acre vineyard. It is situated in the HOT (and occasionally frosty) Santa Ynez valley, where drought tolerance and hardiness are major considerations. Our goal for this design was to reflect the high quality of the subtle, yet distinctive, wines that are created from this wonderful vineyard. We needed to create a space that both entertains and connects its visitors to the origins of it’s wines: a place of relaxation, contemplation, fun, and of course, wine appreciation.
